Refund policy

Clever Crumb may, at their sole discretion, provide a replacement on the return of the Products where the Product is deemed faulty or damaged. Due to the nature of our cake kits, we cannot accept returns of goods once dispatched, unless they are damaged or faulty.

Returning faulty or damaged items

If your item is faulty or damaged, please contact us at howdy@clevercrumb.com.au. A photo of the faulty product will be required to assist us in our review.

If your return is accepted, we will give you instructions on how to return it to us. Items must be in the original condition they were delivered, unopened & unused. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

You acknowledge and agree that you are liable for any postage and shipping costs associated with any replacement pursuant, should the item be deemed not faulty (see below). Non-defective items return shipping cost $16.95.

Although we endeavour to provide the best delivery service, by using reputable companies, we cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside of our control. We accept no liability for late deliveries, damaged or lost goods, and any complaints regarding this must be directed to the postage service. Whilst we will endeavour to assist you, we cannot control deliveries by third parties.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate and resolve the issue quickly.

Non-returnable items

Once shipped, items like perishable goods (such as food), custom products (such as special orders) and cake decorating tools cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Due to the nature of our products we do not accept exchanges.
